This publication only ran for eleven issues and was a continuation of The Thriller. With issue 579, ‘The Thriller’ changed its name to ‘War Thriller’

	18^th May 1940 was the last issue of the “War Thriller”. The magazine folded due to wartime shortages of paper. The Biggles story “Storm-Troop of the Baltic Skies” did reach its conclusion, however. The Story was published as BIGGLES IN THE BALTIC in June 1940
