GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE THRILLER
“The Thriller” was first published on 9th February 1929
and ran to 589 issues although for the last 11 issues it was called “The War
Thriller”
It was originally published by the Amalgamated Press Ltd.
The last issue of the Magazine was dated 18th May 1940
when it finally folded due to wartime paper shortages.
W. E. Johns had “Steeley” stories serialised in 14 issues of “The Thriller” and one “Biggles” story serialised in 11 issues of “The War Thriller”.
